GATE M Square is located in the core area of Huajing Town, Xuhui, Shanghai, with a total construction area of approximately 274000 square meters. It is positioned as an “urban level commercial and cultural complex” that integrates shopping, culture, and leisure functions. It is expected to open in 2027. The project is inspired by the national intangible cultural heritage “Wunijing (Huangdaopo) Handmade Cotton Textile Techniques”, and the lighting is translated into the indoor language through five major processes of “defense, elasticity, spinning, weaving, and dyeing”, creating a unique commercial experience quality space with a staggered cotton field image.
