The encounter of light and luxury. As dusk descends over the Lo Wu skyline, the Hermès Light Box quietly opens – the Hermès Shenzhen MixC Mall flagship store, this “Light and Shadow Box” penned by French RDAI chief designer Denis, gracefully unveiled on a winter night in 2024. The TS lighting design team used light as a thread, weaving Hermès’ French craftsmanship with the pulse of Shenzhen’s city into a 900 square meter arc of light poetry.

This light box is a “city allegory” dedicated to Shenzhen.

The image of bamboo is not only a natural symbol, but also a deconstruction of the Shenzhen spirit: speed, resilience, and upward ambition. The hazy quality of glazed glass and the precision of lighting imply the dual personality of this city – both the all-encompassing chaos and the sharpness of technology and order. Hermès uses light as a medium to subtly implant its century-old craftsmanship philosophy of “hidden luxury” into the urban fabric of Shenzhen, without being overly dominant, yet becoming an unavoidable gravitational field. At the MixC Mall in Luohu, Shenzhen, the light box is no longer just an accessory to the building, but rewrites the urban narrative with the language of light. It transforms commercial space into public art, making the brand spirit tangible and poetic.

献给深圳的“城市寓言”

光与奢华的相遇。当暮色漫过罗湖天际线,爱马仕光盒悄然开启——爱马仕深圳万象城旗舰店,这座由法国RDAI首席设计师Denis执笔的「光影宝盒」,于2024年冬夜翩然启幕。TS倘思照明设计团队以光为丝线,将爱马仕的法式匠艺与深圳的城市脉搏,编织成900平方米的弧光诗篇。

这座光盒,是献给深圳的“城市寓言”。

竹的意象不仅是自然符号,更是对深圳精神的解构:速度、韧性、向上生长的野心。而釉点玻璃的朦胧与灯光的精准,则暗喻这座城市的双重性格——既有包容万象的混沌,又有科技与秩序的锋芒。爱马仕以光为媒介,将自身百年工艺的“隐奢”哲学,悄然植入深圳的都市肌理,不喧宾夺主,却成为无法忽视的引力场。在深圳罗湖万象城,光盒不再只是建筑的附属品,而是用光的语言重写城市叙事。它让商业空间成为公共艺术,让品牌精神化作可触摸的诗意。
